It’s a kind of magic table. A cocoon where people can gather to enjoy a moment of exchange, laugh and play. A piece of furniture conveying that magical element and a marvel of technology disappearing under a carefully thought user experience.
Our main mission for Mc Donald’s Europe was to developed entertainment and interactive systems, from software to hardware going through games. But one know that a great digital experience can only be achieved with a thoughtful treatment of the surrounding physical space, from the general architecture down to the choice of materials. It is with this mindset that we developed the first Mc Donald’s Magic Table, an interactive and connected piece of furniture for playing and ordering.
This project is the fruit of a collaborative work carried on by a team of 5 people (software and hardware engineers, game designers) under my supervision.
